Anyone else's insurance....UPDATED
Not cover Rhogam? I went to my OB last week for my GTT (which i passed thank God) and they gave me a script for the Rhogam on the way out. They told me to fill it now since sometimes there can be insurance issues.. So i go today and the pharmacy tells me its not covered. I said how much is it? she says $150 !!!
I said "oh noooo, give me my script back"
I will be calling my insurance company tomorrow to rip them a new one. How do u not cover a medicine that is NEEDED for a pregnancy related issue. Even the pharmacist is like " I dont know why its not covered, you NEED TO TAKE THIS" Anyone else have this problem? Think if i call, they can somehow authorize it? What the hell do we have insurance for then? I hate them all, they make me so mad 
UPDATE:
Called my insurance co today... the woman said that my Dr's office needed to call for an authorization for the Rhogam. So they did and its being delivered to their office next tuesday. No charge for me THANK GOD!

I am sure your doctor's office will be able to get prior authorization for them to cover it. It may just be one of the drugs that requires some paper work for them to pay for it.

My insurance didn't cover it either- I had to pay for it yesterday

 I'm so sorry...
Health Insurance drives me nuts...I get bills for something practically every week...I'm really getting sick and tired of having to call them!!!!!!!!!!!!!
