DD is on her first playdate without me
I feel so sad. I just wasn't up to going to our usual Friday playgroup so my friend offered to take her. It's the first time I've let anyone else drive her and of course I worry that she'll miss me.
She didn't cry when she left so that was a good start. They all know her really well so I know she's in good hands but I can't help but feel guilty sending her off to play without me. It makes me feel like she's growing up too fast.

So enjoy the time! I love when someone has my kids. I spend the time doing things I can't do when they are around

awww I felt the same way the first time I let DD go to her friends house
I actually prefer the kids to come over my house and play I have actually had DDs friend for 3 days STRAIGHT
