I love him to death, but does he think....

We all know they have all said some pretty off the wall comments to us...

(Note: I'm 38 weeks, pre pregnancy weight was about 110, current weight about 152 I also was kind of swollen yesterday from the heat down here)

So as I'm getting ready for bed, I guess I made some type of sigh or something looking into my vanity mirror.... 2 seconds later out of Dh's mouth comes " hey, well atleast I know your face would still be real pretty if you got fat!"



(note: as he puts it he said "if you got fat.." not that I am fat.)

Oh yeah, Dh keeps egging me on too... every morning when I get dressed he tells me to stop sticking out my tummy. Hey, dingbat, there's a baby in there, tell IT to stop sticking out, not me!

The worst is that our doggy, Sparky, wore a tux to the wedding (yes, we're cruel...). But, Sparks has gained a few pounds (ahem, more like 30% of his body weight in 3 months!) so he doesn't fit into his suit anymore. SO, at dinner with friends the other night, DH starts laughing and says, now my dog AND wife can't fit into their suits anymore!!

yes dh has made a few comments that have slipped under the radar. I have had just about the same exact weight gain as you, Laurie. Also, my doc told me to eat better becuase Im gaining too much She thinkk that I wont be able to lose it

My dh has been good. When I say I feel fat, he corrects me and says, You're pregnant"....DUH!!!

My doctor calls me slim....I don't like him very much...

Our DH's just don't get it...I tell mine all the time that I wish for just a day he could see what it would be like to be pregnant...he'd probably treat me like a queen after that...but, now, he makes all his silly little comments which are supposed to be jokes, but, they sometimes do get irritating.
