Are you telling people that you are TTC

Again NOT TTC just yet...but I like to get info from you TTC girls...So are you open with family/friends that you are TTC?

I can't keep secrets so YES!. We haven't started TTC yet but my family knows I took my last BCP last night and that once some things with my DH's job gets figured out, we will start to try. My SIL has struggled with infertility and she kept us informed all throughout. My family was very supportive and helped her through the hardest times. Seeing that has confirmed that if things don't come so easy for us, I want my family to know so I too can have their support. I am not telling "outsiders" any specifics but most people suspect its coming soon just based on where we are in life and how we talk about our neice!

I told one person that we were going to start TTC because I was in her BP and wanted to leave her the option to decide whether to ask me. At that point I would be 8 months pg from her wedding date when asked to be in the bridal party. We got PG on the first month of trying. So I was really glad I said something.

I am 6 months pregnant now. The wedding was supposed to be about a month from now but was called off this week. I will be 7 1/2 months pregnant at what was supposed to be her wedding.

We had told our families not to ask us about TTC until we would be married two years. Our baby is due one month before our two year wedding anniversary.

i told my two best friends and that's it! luckily, both our parents don't ask too many nosy questions.

By virtue of our ages, people were asking us and not waiting for us to tell. So glad that something so private is of the utmost importance to the community at large.

i told my sister and a few girls i work with. only for the support, my sister recently had a baby, and i needed someone to talk to.

i never told my parents or my il's, i saw no need.

we haven't told anyone...we get some people hinting though! we like to keep things private, except for on here of course!

we aren't TTC yet, but when we do, i don't think we tell anyone until it actually happens, or a large amount of time passes and nothing happens...

only you girls on this board know...some ppl im sure assume we are but are not asking which is just fine with me...they will know when we are ready to tell them we are preg!

we told no one. Mostly because I didn't want to buried with questions specifically if we couln't concieve. I think its private, and I was not sure how to deal with it.

I am happy we told no one, now that we are PG its even more private, and scary, so we are happy that no one knows until we are ready to tell

People knew we are going to try after our wedding but we did not "officially" told people we were TTC when we did.

I am not TTC either but when we do I will not be sharing it with anyone. I just don't want anyone asking "Are you pregnant yet?"

We didn't tell anyone. Some people came to their own conclusions when the the doctor gave me the green light after my chemo.

We told our families we were going to start in July..My SIL is the only one that knows we have pushed it up a bit (I go to her for questions about ttc)

no. I actually had to yell at myy mom a few weeks ago. I told her I had this unsatiated craving for McDonalds. She of course mentions that "you might be pregnant?!" I then tell her, that the next time I want to her the word "pregnant" again would be in her response to me after I in fact do tell her that I am pregant. Goodness recent familiy functions have become unbearable.

No not telling anyone. But no one in my family asks any questions. We don't see DH's family that often and they haven't asked questions in the past.

I have been telling people we're planning to start in the coming months. I have a hard time keeping a secret and I feel like I'll need people's support so might as well put it out there - I may regret it, who knows.

NO, I dont like to discuss it. I dont like to because it always turns into the "well when are you going to have a baby convo" I tell people we are winging it and when it happens it happens. I do however have certain family members that insist on asking EVERYTIME they see us if "so you pregos yet?" So I have told my mother (who has the biggest mouth on LI) to let everyone know NOT to ask us. I am very supersticious with this.

No I am not (hence the "code name")... We haven't "officially" started yet, but haven't exactly been careful either. We plan on starting for real probably in June.
I am being secretive about it because I feel like I want it to be a private thing between me and DH. When we do get PG, I probably won't come out here until after the 1st trimester, but who knows if I'll be able to hold it in that long??

Yes! I have told my In laws, my sister, and bff...I haven't told my parents yet..
