Has anyone read the book yet? I just got it for easter and i heard this book will change your life literally in the way you think... I am going to start it tonight.

you have to truly understand and put it into practice. You cant just read the book and suddenly your life is changed, ITs a lot of work and dedication to change how you think. Very few can actually do it, which is why very few succed in the fashion the authors in the book do.

I think it's a fine concept, in theory...but just not 100% practical.
Just because I picture myself and believe I am cancer free...doesn't make me cancer free. Believing in the secret may make me pursue different ave's of treatment or maybe be more aggressive. But alone, I just don't think so.

I had NO IDEA what this was until I saw a huge display for it in Barnes and Noble
I flipped to the last pages----read the summary of the secrets and 
Everyone is just looking for some higher answer or power to help with all the stuff life sends our way (imo)

I though that was the general idea... the energy you put out there is what you get back.
I think the basic message is positive only if you take what you need from the book and filter out the self delusional crap... I don't think it would be a good idea to take this theory as an absolute path to happiness.

I have never read anything that made me do a complete turn around. I think the mind has to be ready and willing to accept the need to change. If you arent ready, then it probably won't work.

Hmm, this makes me more interested in it. I have studied Quantum Physics (in a limited amount), but I am not sure I can imagine how this would be applied to an individual person's situation. I am not sure I buy that, but the way you have explained this makes me more interested in reading it.

Hmm, this makes me more interested in it. I have studied Quantum Physics (in a limited amount), but I am not sure I can imagine how this would be applied to an individual person's situation. I am not sure I buy that, but the way you have explained this makes me more interested in reading it.
The secret to me is a media hype although its message can be studied and learned and understood, but the way its presented in the book and DVD is simple and "feel good" etc.
BUT the idea of it has been aroudn forever and is based on a trillion books about the "law of attraction" and there are some really interesting books out there about the laws of attration, and other universe laws that really make you think.
