We bathe Dottie every other week.
She goes to the groomers about every 5/6 weeks.

1-2 times a week per the vets instructions. Coop has really dry irritated skin, so we use a special shampoo for our special boy!

Pyxie & Bruno get weekly baths. Pyxie gets shaved every week in the summer & every 2 weeks in the winter.

Fascinus gets bathed once a month, but we clean the wrinkles on his face every other day with a q-tip.

Loki we try to bathe every month, but he is always rolling in the dirt so it usually ends up being every other week

Scout gets rinsed off after the dog park - he gets so dusty.

With shampoo -- I've only washed him once so far. Certain breeds shouldn't be washed too often, it can dry out their skin. I would get info specific for your breed or ask your vet.

I think a lot of people over-wash their dogs -- they need their natural oils...

what kind of shampoo do you use? i found out that Jedi has this problem too!

ETA: to answer the question... so far it's been once every 3 weeks.

About every month or 2 or when he gets smelly.
He shouldn't be bathed too much or his skin gets too dry.

In the summer he plays with the hose almost daily, so that's close to a bath!

1 x a week with mint and lavender Buddy wash. It helps calm her sensitive skin.

We bathe them about once a month (unless they get into something or smell!) & they get professionally groomed every 6 weeks.

Murphy has a wiry coat so he doesnt need a bath too often, maybe once every 3 months.

My two pups get bathed monthly. They get groomed every two months.

On a gross note, a family member of mine has a dog who FREAKS near water and TO DATE, he has NEVER had a proper bath. They've sprayed it with a hose, but no soap, no scrubbing, no nails clipped. The KICKER is that the dog is 8 YEARS OLD!!!!

Gross, right?

Usually about every other week. When he starts to stink and/or his paws are dirty.

Im going to try to give Nathan a bath every two weeks. He seems to be afraid of water, and it usually takes my husband to hold him while I stand in the bathtub with him to wash him.

its quite a scene!!
