Stroke
Just got home from my parents house.........their 4 year old pomaranian (sp?) Molly had a stroke. She's such a beautiful dog and now she's paralyzed. My parents and I are devastated. She's so good and now this happens. The vet says we'll have to wait and see how she does. If she doesn't improve, since she's not eating or drinking, we'll have to put her to sleep. This is so so sad.

Our dog Jasmine had a stroke and her face was paralyzed. With some type of medication it helped so much!!! SHe was able to eat and wasn't in any pain.
I hope she gets better!! There is hope

I'm so sorry. I had to put my pomeranian down over a year ago due to seizures (amongst other health issues). It was so hard. They are such amazing dogs. I wish you and your family the best. Those dogs can take a lot, so don't give up. She may surprise you.

thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. it's been a couple of days now and she seems to be improving somewhat. she actually ate some food and drank some water. we're going to make an appointment with a neurologist and see what the prognosis is going to be.
i'm just so happy she's improving. i honestly thought we would have to put her to sleep and that would have been devastating.
