Who here has ever LOOPED?

I know I kind of touched on this in my fourth grade post but I wanted to get some perspectives on this. I am considering looping with my third graders next year.

I looped with my students from 7th to 8th grade a couple of years ago, durin gmy first two years at my current school. The following year, I remained in 8th grade, and this year, I went back to 7th grade. Next year, I'll be looping again to 8th grade with my students.
Having had both experiences, I loved looping. I love the different kind of a relationship you can form with the students as you watch them from one year to the next. I love being able to start in September knowing what they already did, and knowing what they should already know! I love not having to meet a whole new set of parents (most of the time) and students.

I looped from 3rd to 4th-last year-I loved my class so it was great!!!! You can get right to work, they know what u expect-and they grow up so much over that summer!!! The only not so great part is that it did get a little boring,and the curriculum changes so that was difficult to get used to for a bit--but all in all great experience :)
