NSUH ladies who did FET
I just got AF and called for FET in june. When I spoke to RE he made it seem like I needed to do the SHG, and trial transfer again. When I spoke to the secretary, she said that I didn't need to do it, b/c it was done in the last 6 months. But I feel like she was unsure of herself.
I am not sure what to do. I don't want to lose out on doing it in june b/c of her error.
What are your experiences??

Call and ask to speak to the IVF nurse. You do have to do it again, I have done it for every cycle.
the week after AF you do the HSG, the next week h&P and trial of transfer.

Wow - why do you have to do HSG again? Do you ahve to do it if your first one was normal? I am pg from fresh cycle but hope to do an FET next year - will I have to do HSG again? just asking b/c i have no insurance any longer so wonder what i'll have to pay for.....

why do you have to do another HSG??
What is their reasoning for it?
I know after my m/c I had to do another Water Sono.
I would ask to speak to the IVF nurse (coordinator) not a secretary

Just to clarify:
The HSG is the hystosonogram (The saline sono/water sono)
You DO NOT have to do the hysterosalpingogram again!

I was going to say, why would they do the other HSG.
Yes, I had to have another water sono done, to make sure there was no scarring from the D&C.
