Repost NFR- Resume help
I am in the process of updating my resume and according to the higher ups at my current job, my title will officially change in JUNE. Right now, my title does not reflect the weight of responsibility that I carry.
My question is, do I continue to send my resume out with the current title, or change it to the new title that I should be getting in June? My title right now totally limits me, but I dont trust that I wil get a fair title-which is why I'm looking for another job

It's sometimes dangerous to lie about your title, since background checks will usually ask for time of employment at a company as well as your position.

i'd leave it as is. if your title changes before you meet with an interviewer but after they receive your resume, you can sneak in a "I have a little update for you..." type of thing.

I agree, especially since you don't know the official title yet.
