Just FYI about name change on passports.
I sent mine out to get my name changed on Monday April 30th. I expedited it, since I was scared I wouldn't get it back in time. Well, I received my new Passport today. I couldn't believe how fast it went.

I just got mine back too... it only took 8 days! I was shocked since there has been so much hype about passports taking forever to be returned...

Now if we could just get the airport attendants to understand the concept of the name change...!  
Although, I think it may be scarier when they don't notice the last name is different from what's on the ticket at all!

I did a name change, did not expedite it, sent it on Feb 16th and got it two weeks ago- it took awhile for me
