Having a sad moment
I've been so busy with work and house hunting that I haven't had much time to think about my infertility battles. But today, I can't seem to stop thinking about it.
AF is due this week. We will be starting our IVF cycle once she shows. As happy and excited as I am that we are finally moving forward with an IVF cycle....I am also very sad and nervous about it.
I know that it is not good to think this way, but why me....why is it so easy for others... why am I not as deserving?
I'm just tired of waiting and waiting and waiting....it is so frustrating at times.
Sorry for the vent, thanks for listening.

Re: Having a sad moment
for you.
It is hard for many of us to make peace with the fact that things do not com easy for us. You are not alone in that feeling. I wish that something so beautiful, the creation of life, could happen simply between my husband, myself and G-d. But it was not meant for us to be that way. I try to think of it as beig grateful that procedures exist that people like us can have kids. Maybe that will help. Ith as helped me at times.
I hope you feel better soon and best of luck! You do have lots to look forward to.

Re: Having a sad moment
I have been there - still there . . . .mother's day was especially hard since practically everyone i know is pregnant and obviously not me. Even got teary in church when they were having a special mother's day mass. It's definitely tough but thankfully we have this community of ladies who understand what it's like!
I wish you and everyone else here a BFP soon

Re: Having a sad moment
I totally understand what you are feeling. I think those feelings are what is keeping me from making an appointment with an RE to get started. Sometimes it's so hard to think positive... I wish you all the best...

Re: Having a sad moment
It is okay and perfectly normal to have feelings like that! The important thing is that you take care of yourself during the experience and just know that there are women here (unfortunately) to guide you, cry with you, and celebrate that BFP!
Lots of luck to you as you begin this journey!

Re: Having a sad moment
Thank you so much ladies. I'm still feeling "cranky" today, but I know these feelings will soon pass.
I wish that we all didn't need to be on this board, but since we don't have a choice, I am happy that such wonderful women are on this board with me.
You are all wonderful at making the sad and hard times easier and great at making the happy times even happier.
Thank you for being such a great support team for me and everyone else on this board.
May we all receive our BFP's soon.
