as a met fan and as much as I am loving this right now...i've learned that with baseball, the important thing is to enjoy the moment
the picture in october may be different than it is now
the yankees are the most dangerous when they're wounded
and the last thing the mets want to do is rest on their laurels
they're playing great ball, but there are some flaws that need to be rectified
one game at a time and enjoy the small wins

True, but you gotta admit - they are playing really, really well right now. 8 -2 for the last ten games and a 4 game winning streak.
Plus they are playing well as a team - which to me is most important!
