boo to my day today

Well, it wasn't really a rough day, but more of an annoying one. I had my final observation with my principal scheduled for this morning -- I did all the paperwork and had my pre-ob conference with him,etc.. He was 25 minutes late, so I was stalling with my 4th graders on the carpet waiting... he finally walks in, apologizes for being late and thanks the kids for being patient and he gets paged down to the office... left my room and said 'i'm sorry, let me know how it goes, we have to reschedule.".... so now i have to redo all my paperwork and do a new lesson (I couldn't just hold off on this one until next week because this was the next logical step in the kids' ongoing project)...I'm a special teacher and my program ends next week --- so I wonder what I'm going to have to come up with to teach on my last day of class before an ice cream party. Oy. Vent over. Thanks.

That does sound really annoying. It stinks getting jerked around like that. But I'm sure it'll work out ok.

Seem that principals do this alot! Guess they dont understand how much work we put into these observation! I feel your pain.
