Ok im in the middle of reading this and...OMG i love it!!! I cant believe how messed up her parents are.
Im only like 1/4 the way in....am i in for even more of a treat????

That was an unbelievable book!!! I absolutely loved it!! I actually met her, she did a speaking engagement at the Cold Spring Harbor Library.
The book is a memoir of her childhood which is astonishing to say the least. The things her and her family went through are unreal.

I did not want this book to end, I was so sad when I got to the last chapter that I put off reading it. It was a fantastic book, even more so since it was a true story.

Yeah, when we saw her at the speaking engagement, she said her Mom lives in a trailer on her property. Apparently, her mom is much better now although still not completely sane.

Her parents were insane! Very interesting memoir though.....it is amazing that she came out of that situation and did well in life.

Just finished reading this book...
Wow...to turn out so well is amazing.
I kept trying to diagnose the parents and all I could come up with was that they were crazy.

I loved this book, it took me a little while to get through, but you will love every second of it!
