Need help with feeding kitten

Since I got my kitten she will only eat the adult cat food but my adult cat seems to love the kitten food. My vet says that my kitten needs to eat dry food made for kittens and my adult cat should not eat the kitten food because it is bad for her kidneys. Is there a dry food that is for both kittens and adult cats? I have looked and found one named Felidae but it is not sold around my area.

I have their food in separate rooms and I had to put kittens food up because my older cat will eat it.

maybe you can try and put their food in different rooms until the kitten is old enough for regular cat food.

I just got a kitten and she loves to eat from my adult cats bowl!

I have special food for her- and I am going to start adding special kitten dry food also- I got a brand called Wellness

my adult cat is not eating her food

I have there food on opposite sides of the apartment- and she still finds it and eats it

I was thinking about getting a raised bowl for the adult- that she wont be able to reach

I just asked my vet- he wasn't concerned about her eating cat food

(her being my kitten)

we had a similar problem... the vet said it wasnt a big deal if the kitten was eating the adult cat food...
