Weird Behavior

Every morning as soon as we get up, we let Dottie outside in the back yard.
She does her thing and usually hangs out there for about 10 -15 min.

Then, before I leave for work, I always take her on a 10 minute walk. For the past 2 days, she goes out back no problem, BUT as soon as we walk outside, about a minute later she wants to come back in.

She actually pulls me to go back inside. Now, the past few days have been the first days she's been by herself all day.
DO you think it might have something to do with that? LIke she doesn't want to go on a walk, because she knows I leave after that? OR am I totally over analyzing??

Nope, that's probably exactly what it is. Dogs are creatures of habit and she's figured out that walk means Mommy leaves ...She probably figures you won't leave if you don't walk.

Although my DH swears that dogs don't think like that.

How old is she? I know that at some point during puppyhood, I beleve it's 8 months, dogs go through a "fear" period and what you are saying is some of the characteristics. Denver went through a short period of 1-2 weeks where he was like that then he got over it.
