A brazilian they do front to back ... you are not in stirups Chat Icon but they will spread uh-hem and get int there to make sure you are smooth as a baby's bottom.

A regular wax just takes the sides and maybe some top off. And probably none of the back.

HTH!

No stirrups. They just contort you more.

I had a brazilian bikini wax a week before my c-section. It hurt, but I had been getting brazilians every 4-6 weeks for about 6 years- so it wasn't unexpected.

If its your first time, I don't know if I would go for a Brazilian while your very pregnant. It is going to hurt more than usual.

well, I've never gotten a full brazilian but I can fill you in on a regular bikini wax.

I would wear a skirt - especially since you are preggo - much easier. You will have to hold your panties in certain ways to make things easier. You'll have to 'relax' your legs to the side (one at a time) so that they form a 4.

Just how pregnant are you? I hear that for a brazilian you have to get on all fours and even lift your legs up in the air - don't know for sure if it's true but if it is, it might be uncomfortable depending on how pregnant you are.

Good luck!

my brazilians were laying on my side in fetal postiion and sometimes holding my knees to my chest so she could every nook and cranny.

bikini, I believe they essentially follow your panty line around the legs, maybe a bit under and below the top of the panty line

I guess each place is different because I get a bikini wax and my lady does front to back and leaves only a strip. it's basically like a Brazilian, but without removing that little "landing strip". She does not put me in stirrups. I don't wear any disposable panties. I've been going to her for 4 years now. I am 7 months pregnant now and plan to continue doing it, even though it's harder to "flip over", but there are ways to get the back side.

As for a Brazilian, that's EVERYTHING gone. Front & Back. I've also had that done, and it hurts.

Actually it hurts for both, but I found that the Brazilian hurts a little more because there are "areas" that are EXTRA EXTRA sensitive.

HTH!

I've never had a "regular" waxing, only Brazilian.

Each esthetician is different. I've had them where they make me get on all fours to get into those "nooks & crannys" Chat Icon and my current esthetician just has me lie on my back and pull my knees to my chest to get to the perineal area.

Be forwarned though, you're more sensitive when pregnant.

I'm 9 1/2 months pregnant and had the brazilian done last week. It hurt like hell but I'm all set for my c-section now! She didn't contort me around and was actually very gentle with how she needed to position me.

Re: Brazilian & Bikini waxers...help...

I got a bikini wax yesterday, actually a brazillian. I'm 35+ weeks. It was hilarious! I called and asked to make an appt for one, and then went on to let the receptionist know I was uber-pregnant so...you know! Haven't seen past my stomach in over a month or two! She laughed-she was also 7 mos pregnant and totally understood. The esthetician was great! I mean it hurt like all get out, but pretty temporary and she had me laughing for most of it. I couldn't finish because I was getting to red. I haven't done this in years, but I am glad I did it. One thing I forgot to do was to take Tylenol before the service. I have always heard to take two Advil, helps with any discomfort and swelling (I can only take Tylenol now) and I wish I had. I won't forget next week!

No, that's not true. I've had brazilians at 3 different places and I've never had to do that. Spread your legs a lot...yes. Get on all fours...no.
