Yankee help!!
How does one get to the Yankee Stadium from Long Island using public transportation? Is it easier using PT or better off driving ourselves? We are planning on going to a game some time this summer but I have never been to the stadium and have no clue on how to get there. Thanks for you help!

its easier to drive, do a mapquest search
or go to this link - give u directions form anywhere to the stadium

i guess u can take a train to penn and then subway it - I HATE SUBWAYS THOUGH

I always drive, but haven't gone to a game yet this year....I've heard public transportation is the way to go now that some of the parking lots are closed down and construction equip is all around.
If you do decide to drive - give yourself plenty of time - I heard the delays have been a nightmare.

I find it much easier and faster to use LIRR and the Subways. No traffic to deal with.

You have to go into Penn and take the subway from there. DH and I have done it a couple of times.
