Does Your DC Have Any Great Great Grandparents?
Just curious.
My kids have one great great left. My great grandpa is 94 and my grandmother doesn't think he's going to be around much longer. I hope he hangs on long enough for us to visit him in a couple of weeks. He hasn't met Emma yet

I am truly blessed my DS has 2 great granmothers, 1 of which he sees at least 1 a week, shes 87 and completely with it and 2 great grandfathers, 1 of which he sees every 2 weeks or so and he is 97 and totally with it to. My DS loves them so much he loves my granfather b/c he has a really heavy spanish accent and he thinks its hysterical. I love watching him with them!

My DD has 2 great great grandpas. My son had great great grandma that past away a few months after he did.

we took our DDs to italy for a vacation
last year to meet there great great grandmother and one day later she died
so they got to meet her for one day my old dd talk about her all the time

All of our great grandparents are long gone, but MY grandma lives with us, and DD is her 5th great grandchild (and DS will be #6) and she is getting the immense pleasure of watching her grow each and every day which does MY heart good....
I am so close to my grandma and I love knowing that she is involved in Alysons' life

My kids had one great great aunt until she passed away last August, when DS was 5 and DD 18 months. We always spent a great deal of time with her. My grandpa, their great grandfather, is 95 and has 11 great grandchildren. We spend a lot of time with him, and I think it's the kids who give him the will to keep going. Funny thing is, until he hit around 90, he hated little kids...

I only have my grandma left, so my boys have 1 great grandparent.
But great great? Wow...that is truly a blessing.

DS has a great grandma, who barely speaks English and a great grandfather who doesn't speak a lick of English.

DS has only one great grandmother.
My other grandparents passed away when I was 4 then I lost my 2 grandfathers within 2 months of each other when I was 8
My grandmother is fantastic and I am so glad she is here to meet DS.
