Freezer Friendly Meals?

My BF just had a baby- and I want to make her and her husband some meals that she can freeze easily!

Anyone have any ideas as to what I can make for her?

i also do stuffed shells... the box of shells makes like 30 of them, which we usually get several meals out of. i just make the shells and don't put sauce on them, and just freeze the shells. then, when i'm ready to eat them, i just get out however many i want to cook, put the sauce on them and cook them Chat Icon
also baked ziti freezes really well- also i think any kind of soup or chili does too and they are easy to make because you can just throw stuff in the crockpot. then, when she wants it, she can jut throw it in a pot on the stoveChat Icon

Re: Freezer Friendly Meals?

baked ziti
a batch of sauce
meatballs or meatloaf (yes...I make and freeze!)
chili
anything with a sauce really.....scarletbegonia posted a crockpot chicken recipe that I freeze all the time.
pancakes and homemade waffles
bagels freeze well too!
chicken soup
I have frozen leftover taco meat for the next time we eat tacos and it's fine
picadillo (a cuban ground beef dish)
homemade beans (my stepmom is hispanic and has always made them from scratch and frozen them).
I also chop up veggies for when I need to cook with them and freee them (onions, pepper strips...makes life easier)
PIZZA freezes really well too
