The Huckleberry Frolic (pics)
Did anyone go? It was at Memorial Park in East Rockaway. I grew up near there, so I went to my mom's this morning, parked at her house, and met a friend and her kids there. We stayed about 1.5 hours. Andrew had such a good time. He actually went across the rope bridge, I was impressed because a few kids older than him got up and were scared. And he had fun at the fire truck, dressing all up and shooting the water out of the hose. Here are a few pics:

I did I did and I saw you!!!! I thought you looked familiar and then I saw Andrew and knew it was you but Logan ran the other way so I had to chase him and then didn't see you anymore. We were there for like 3 hours!!! Logan loved walking around seeing all of the people, going in the petting zoo (it was small) and of course eating ice cream. I ran into lots of people from back in the day so it turned into a whole day thing! I tried to put him on the ropes (b/c he kept wanting to climb the ladder up to it) but he didn't want to go on. The fireman hose thing was great! I only have one picture from the park area.... Image Attachment(s):

Oh, I didn't see you! I was keeping my eye out because I know a few ladies live in the area. Andrew had a meltdown or two, so we didn't stay long.
It was funny, when we went back to my parents house, my dad was asking if I saw anyone I knew. I told my dad it's been 15+ years since I lived in ER, I probably wouldn't recognize anyone if I saw them anyway! I go back a lot though because my parents still live there.

I know! I was talking to one of my friends saying how we couldn't believe we used to hang out at the bandstand ( ) almost 25 years ago
