Newlywed chop?
Who's done this? Are you happy you did? How much of a change did you make and do you have any cute short to med styles you could post? I am debating on weither to do this or not. I have thin curly hair that is shounder length. Any suggestions. I am willing to go straight and even dye it if you have sugg. TIA

I cut 10 inches, and dyed it. I do this every 2 years anyway.

I could NOT WAIT to cut my hair after my wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got at least 5" cut 2 days after I got back from the HM

I did nothing- my DH gets upset if I cut more then 1 inch
my hair is alittle past my bra strap- but I like it long and get it JHS- so it's wash and go!

I did it a few months after the wedding...I cut 10 inches off and donated it the locks of love..
it was a HUGE change...I did an inverted bob..but didn't go that short in the back; even so it was the shortest I ever had my hair
I don't regret it...Its grown back pretty fast, its past my shoulders already.

I'm doing my "newlywed chop" on Tuesday - I've been married for almost 2 years and have kept is long since the wedding. I'm gong above my shoulders when I cut it this week

I did it- I have had the same long curly brown hair forever and after the wedding/honeymoon I wanted a change-
I cut 9 inches off (but it was still shoulder length), highlighted it as well... I am so glad I did it-
I love the change , and dh did too- it was still long (he likes long hair) but shorter.. I was stuck in the "my hair is so long, so it is going in a ponytail all the time" rut..
It has since grown back a lot- and I have not had it cut again-
Really- haircuts for me, are like the dentist, I don't really enjoy going!
