Spirit Air Cost??
So I have my flight down to Grand Cayman in February on Cayman Airways from 2/14-2/23. My inlaws are coming down on 2/16-2/23. Spirit Airs fares came out today. It is $2600 for both of them. Does anyone know if the fares are initially high then go down as the date gets closer?? I saw that the 13th is like $150pp each way. Now its like $600pp one way. Is it because it is such a busy vaca week? Should I wait or should I go elsewhere to get them tickets?? Any advice??

Re: Spirit Air Cost??
That week is President's week so it's a busy travel week and airfare is usually high.
I'd look at other carriers and see what prices you get. In my experience with Spirit, the fares don't move to drastically (downwards at least) to places you want to go to when you want to go. They are a lot cheaper though on Tues-Thurs usually than they are on the weekends (I fly them to Myrtle Beach a lot).

Our flights were $388pp + taxes. I was hoping to keep their flight under or close to $1000.
