PROBLEM with my video
So I was watching it...it was all going fine until I am in the middle of my conferencing with the kids and apparently (which is like 10 minutes into it) something happened with the camera and there is about a minute lapse! The camera went off and then it comes back on and the person video taping it has it facing the floor! And then the video is fine again.
What the hell should I do??? Should I still send it in? It's due on FRIDAY!

Honestly, I would do it over. I think that in the "rules", it states that the camera cannot be turned off and re-started for any reason.
I know it's a huge pain in the butt, but better to be safe than sorry....
(I have the pilates info for you to - I'll FM you in a bit)

It does say that! DH says I should just send it in anyway and see what happens

If you can spare the time, I'd do it over, personally. I would hate to see you waste $145 for a mistake like that that you KNOW is there and is in the guidelines.

I can't spare the time...It's due on Friday. Doing it tomorrow is really short notice and then Tuesday is a 1/2 day and I wouldn't get to it until Wednesday Thanks for the advice

I would send it in. In my video the person taping me paused the camera without telling me. When I got home that night and watched it I am walking across the classroom and then just disappear and suddenly I am somewhere else. I was in the same situation where I had no time left to retape so I just sent it in and I passed.

Ive heard they watch it in fast forward to count the time and to see the "skips"
They will see it then and you will get RNM- reguirements not met
Sorry but re-do the same lesson tomorrow...then mail it priority/ first class/ overnight

What really upset me is that I wish the teacher who filmed me had said something...I had no idea this had happened I could have done it over last week..There is NO time this week...between the half day, field day etc I wouldn't get to it until Thursday

I look at it this way because I don't know if I have a whole 10 minutes with non-direct due to the camera, not me...if I'm out $145, then I'm out. It can always be redone, but I'm with you...much luck!

A friend of mine had a break, and sent it in anyway, and she did not pass and had to redo it. Good luck!

i can't believe she didn't tell you it happened!
$145 is a lot to waste if they don't pass you. i would redo it definitely.

I would redo it... I know it's more work, and you already put SO much time and effort into it. It's not worth the trouble of getting RNM on the sheet returned to you.

I ended up sending it anyway...there was no time for my to do it over this week at work was crazy. So I sent it and hoped for the best. I will be looping with my class anyway next year so if need be I will do it again
