If I hear "She has gas" one more time....
I might just scream!!!! 
OK that is my first new mommy vent. I'm sorry but maybe my daughter just wants to be held close by the woman who gave birth to her.

Unfortunately theres a whole list of comments everyone from friends to family and yes, even strangers will find to chip in their two cents..
Best bet is try to ignore it-- but yes with your new hormones, it tends to be easier said than done!!! If that doesnt work, tell everyone you need a couple of days to "get your schedule" down... That worked for me!!! Good Luck and Best wishes!

she is adorable
might as well get use to those comments now cuz your gonna hear them for quite sometime. She m ust have gas, she must be teething, you sahould try this and you shouldn't do that your jsut gonna wanna pull open the door and scream at everyone THATS ENOUGH SHUT UP AND GET OUT

It is so fustrating to have to hear everyone's comments, like they know your baby better then you, especially when it comes from family or ILs!
I dealt with this too and it really stressed me out in the beginning. BF was great since you can always retreat to another room and be alone with the baby. But if you notice it continues from a certain person its best to confront it right away and not let the comments continue. Just say Thank you but I know my baby well and it is not gas.......

i breast fed my son and all i heard was "that baby is not getting enough to eat he needs a bottle" HHEEELLLOO he gained 10lbs in 1 month!!! i would say he is doing just fine!
just ignore people and know that you know what is best for your child. everyone thinks they are an expert.

It's so frustrating sometimes. Everybody has to give their two cents. My MIL is the worst with this. She insists Christopher has colic. She even gave me a pamplet on it. He doesn't cry for hours on end for no reason. In fact, he rarely cries at all. Even though I love her, I think she's jealous that I'm not having as many problems with him as she had with DH when he was a baby.
