Do you feel that
sleeping with a heavy moisturizing cream and socks on actually helps your summer feet, or is it just an old wives tale?

Re: Do you feel that
i try to moisturize my feet more in the summer to get them 'sandal ready'--im sure that the whole heavy moisturizer/socks thing couldn't hurt, but ive never done it. i wonder if they make special socks specifically for this purpose?

Re: Do you feel that
I have the gloves and hand cream from Bath and Body Works and love it. It works well. I imagine the socks they sell are as wonderful.

It works You don't have to buy the expensive sock though, I just use my cotton running socks and it works awsome!!!

Re: Do you feel that
If you want, use cotton ped like socks, you know, those little ones that fall under your ankle. Then cut the toe section off. That way, your litttle piggies won't suffocate but your foot will get the effect.

Re: Do you feel that
I've never done that. if anything, I would need that extra moisturizing in the winter when my skin is REALLY dry!!
I can't sleep w/socks on in the summer.
I find that getting pedicures on a reg basis keeps my feet and toes looking their best

Re: Do you feel that
I did it last night - heavy moisturizer, then a layer of vaseline, and cotton socks...
worked great!!!

Re: Do you feel that
Yes, it works for both feet and hands.
The heat of the gloves/socks help the cream penetrate in the skin.
