how did you tell your mom you where pg

I am just wondering how you girls told your mom. I want to think of a good way to tell her

nothing exciting...DH and I called my parents (they live 2 hours away)

My DH and I told her and my dad together. My DH wanted to be there, that night we traveled to everyone in our immediate families homes and told them...I actually thought it would have been cool to make something with a picture of her pregnant with me, or holding me as a baby...like a card, but I was too excited and didn't want to wait!

We literally walked into her house and announced we were pg. I called my dad the next day and told him.

i gave my parents bibs, that said i love grandma and grandpa, my mom was in such shock and so happy!

I bought her a card that said "congratulations on your promotion" and addressed it to "Grandma" from "your first grandchild."

We took both sets of parents out to dinner and told them during dinner. It was nice. And they were soooooooo happy for us.

We waited until Father's Day and told both of my parents at the same time. I told my parents that his gift would be a little late, and my mom popped out of her chair..she got it right away. My dad has this dumb look like, why do I have to wait so long fpr a present.

We bought picture frames that said grandparents or grandkids on it and they got it right away.
I got a plain white one for my niece and wrote I love my cousins with paint markers, same thing for my sis and sil I love my aunt and uncle.

My mom wanted the new saks catalog..

So I brought it home and I taped a bib inside of it..

I said mom go to page 45 and I ordered that for you and the bib said I love my nanny.. it was all I could find 6pm in the city

she was crying crying crying her and my dad.. they they asked is this a joke
I said NO I took 4 tests!

For Christmas we gave both Mom's picture frames of our sono pictures that said "My heart belongs to Grandma"

We gave our parents Christmas Cards that said "Merry Christmas Grandma and Grandpa"

We told our families on Mother's Day and we put the sonogram in their cards.
But because my house was such a disaster to get everyone to sit down, we told dhs family differently. We told his 3 yr old niece to tell grammy that I was pregnant.
