Leeners...about that perm you wanted
Hey Eileen! I was reading AM New York and they had an article about hair salons. One of them specializes in 'soft perms', its the Sally Hershberger Downtown.
423-425 West 14th Street
212-206-8700

Check price carefully - I think she is the one who charges like $600 for a haircut.?

Yup, it's $600 for a cut with her. Its much less if you use other stylists. That 'soft perm' thing costs $300.

 Wow! Maybe because it's fairly new? I wouldn't be getting it done until the end of the summer (with my new brown hair  ) so maybe the price will go down by then.
Either way, at least I have a name for it now!

Yeah, just call me DM 
Nah, just ready for a new look. I'm actually going Thursday for a haircut - swoopy bangs, long layers, get rid of some of the length.
I've always wanted to go brown so I'm definitely doing that at the end of the summer (cooler weather + I'm MOH in my BF's wedding at the end of July and I don't want to completely f' up her pics  ). Still undecided about the perm/body wave. Might hold off on that some more.

Tried it, it didn't work for me. 
I wonder if a perm would help hold my wedding hair better?
