Help us start a chain reaction…..

Rachel Scott was one of the students tragically lost on April 20, 1999 at Columbine High School. She was an amazing young woman who somehow always knew she would touch many lives. Through her journals, friends, and family we know that she did effect many people. Unfortunately, she didn’t live to know just how many more she would touch. In her honor and the honor the other 12 who were lost on that day, we, the seventh grade students at Udall Road Middle School, proudly present Udall’s Challenge. Our “challenge” is to get as many members of the community to participate in Rachel’s Challenge as possible. We are asking that you read the challenges below and sign our “links” promising that you will fulfill them. These links will be joined together to form an unbreakable chain of kindness in our school and community.

1. Eliminate prejudice by looking for the best in others
2. Choose positive influences and role models in life
3. Keep a daily journal or diary
4. Look for the little things that can make a BIG difference
5. Express positive affection to family and friends consistently

it's "affect", not effect

effect is a noun, affect is a verb
