repost from parenting - cysts on brain

I went for my level II sono last week. The girl told me they could not see the heart they way they wanted bc of the babies position, and that I would have to come back in a week. I thought that sounded funny, but was trying not to be paranoid. Today I get a call from my OB, telling me that on the sono, there were two choroid plexi cysts, measuring 5.8 and 5.9 mm. He tells me these can be associated with chromosomal defects, and that tomorrow at the sono they will be talking to be about genetic testing, etc. Has anyone had these, and everything turned out alright???

I had the same thing happen at 20 weeks. I went for a level 2 and they saw that my little girl had a 6 mm cyst on the frontal lobe. They sent me for a TON of testing and found that it dissapeared on its own in a few days. I was told they are common and they almost always go away. I know it is scary no matter what they tell you.
