First Aid ?

My dog was playing with my friends pup and it seems that she is bleeding a little on her hind leg--should I put anything on it? or just leave it?? TIA!!!!

I'd clean it with peroxide then apply neosporin & wrap it in gauze to keep out infection. Even though the dog's saliva should keep it safe, if you are concerned it never hurts to treat an open wound.

My sister made me a little first aid kit for my golden as a christmas present because I was a total neurotic mommy at first and would take her to the vet over anything!
Anyway in the kit she bought me pet neosporin which seems to work great, but I am sure it is just an over priced regular neosporin.
I would also suggest salt water. My golden had a hot spot last week and I took her to the beach 2 days in a row to swim (thinking it would clean it out) on the second night the whole hot spot was scabbed over, and within 2 days it looked perfect.
