what do you do all day??
What are some things that you do all day with them??
Im getting bored
They watch t/v a little, which is usually on most of the day. They LOVE the Backyardigans. They play in their excersaucer/walker, and then we go in the play room and play with our toys, now that is is nicer out, we go out for walks (which they LOVE).\Plus Im chasing after Matthew all over the house
How much t.v do your twins watch?? Im trying to keep it off, but Christopher is always staring at it

Re: what do you do all day??
Usually they wake about 7-7:30am and eat breakfast. I go out for the day w/ them - beach walking, errand running - and feed them lunch out. They nap along the way. In the afternoon (after their nap) they play in their playroom w/ toys and crawl around. Lately I"ve been putting htem in their pnp outside to play or on a blanket - they just LOVE grass
After their "dinner" at about 4 they watch one video and play and we read until bedtime (around 7). That pretty much fills their day!

Re: what do you do all day??
I need to read to them more often, I feel bad that I dont. My inlaws read to them all the time.
I did put them in their pool and they liked it, well it took Christopher awhile to get used to it. Matthew now likes the grass, although now he pulls it and tries to eat it.

They're obsessed with different textures! I put down this night water-resistant blanket and they immediately crawl to the edges and pull it up to see the grass. THey have attempted to eat it on numerous occasions. That's why I like the pnp but now they're just too mobile to be content in it for long.

Re: what do you do all day??
Usually my girls wake up about 7:30- I give them a sippy cup of milk. they hang out with me and if my DH is home in bed and i let them play in my room until about 8:00-8:30. then we all go downstairs. 9am- breakfast--yogurt, oatmeal and fruit..their favorite
Then playtime- mommy eats breakfast
10:30 we all take a shower
After shower i get Reese and Syd dressed, cut nails, brush hair, put on lotion.
11am-naptime--mommy gets dressed,
1:00- lunch
Then we go out--either to my moms in the pool, park, mall whatever.
We come home by 5-6 eat dinner and then in bed by 6:30-7
thats basically my day..when i am home with them.

Re: what do you do all day??
We're all up for the day around 6:15. They play in their cribs till about 7, while I get dressed. Then I get them dressed, they spend about 30 mins in excersaucer and then they eat. Nap time around 9:30. When they wake up its play time on the floor for about a half hour, then they eat again, then watch tv for 30 mins, then nap again. In the afternoons they either play on the floor some more or we go out or walk. They get about 15 more mins. exersaucer time before getting into pjs. They eat again around 5:30 and in cribs for the night at 6.

Re: what do you do all day??
6-7 they wake up 7-7:30 they play on the playmat with toys or in their exersaucer 7:30-8 is breakfast 8:30 nap (if I am not going out) around 10 they wake up and we play on the playmat, exersaucer, walker and the dog. 11:30 lunch 12:30 nap time 2ish they wake up and play with their toys until around 3:30 3:30 dinner 4:15ish nap 5 we do baths, storytime, maybe a walk 6:30-7 bed
the tv is on in the background, but the only thing they watch is the "Moose" guy on Noggin. I have music playing on all for them, so they don't really bother with the tv,yet.
Now that my DH is home from work for the school, we are planning say trips to the zoo, beach, the hamptons and the aquarium, things like that.

Re: what do you do all day??
Similar schedule as everyone else. We also do flash cards, I have books with animals (so now I am practicing those sounds with them), I practice with the sippy cup and different size snacks for them to pick up, we play different games - I show them different colors, or different sized objects, I lay them in the boppy pillows and just talk and play with them, I put them in the crib together so they can make each other laugh and play together, we go for walks, run a few errands here and there, and go to my parents' house (they have different toys and more people there).
The TV is usually on in the background - I used to shut it off when they watched it instead of playing, now they barely even look at it. The only time I put them in front of it is if I'm getting things ready to leave the house, or if they are cranky before bedtime I put Baby Einstein on, that really settles them down.

Re: what do you do all day??
My kids wake at 7:00 - 7:30. If they wake earlier then they stay in their cribs talking to each other and throwing thier toys on the floor.
We watch one episode of tv and they play while I get ready, the tv is not alwasy on depends on if they ask for it.
By 8:30 we go downstairs and they get thier milk and by 9:00 they eat breakfast. They get dressed if not already and then we will watch tv if they haven't yet and I need time to eat, or go outside to play.
We pretty much play until lunch time, or go out, or visit grandma on my days off.
12 - 12:30 they eat. Then we play more and go in for a nap at 1:30. They sleep until 5:00.
When they get up we eat dinner and then play until bedtime which is at 8:30 sometimes 9
This is the same schedule during the week or at the sitter's or when their grandmas' are there.
In regards ot the TV, it really depends on how much they watch. SOme days they could stare at it from 7:30 am to 12:30 when they eat lunch, other days they don't pay attention to it. They do have thier favorites but it is normally on as background noise.
