would you take a position that you really wanted even though it is less $$$?
backstory:
i was offered a position that sounds amazing, downside is that it includes working 9-3 on sundays for the school year (not during summer).
salary is not as high as i would like it to be. but the responsibilities and potential have me really enthusiastic about it.
financially it would be a strain on us.
right now though i am barely working. i provide ei services and i only have one case, so this would be an improvement.
do i take it? interested in opinions!

Well...if it's more than you're making now it sounds positive....can you accept the position and back out if something else comes along with better pay??

when you say it would be a financial strain - is that compared to your current situation, or what you hoped to get?
I would go for it, just to have - and keep your options open.

right now i only have one ei case and it seems like it is really slow so the egency said dont count on a new one until sept or oct. which is too long for me to go without $$$$. so i could wait it out and then take on a few cases and earn $$$$$$.
as far as a strain, if i took this position we would be living paycheck to paycheck.
