how to make salads different?
besides the ususal lettuce, tomotoes, cucumbers, carrots, peppers ect......what do you put in your salad to make it different but still healthy. I am sick of eating the same salad stuff everyday!!!!!

i love dried cranberries and nuts in a salad. Also love different cheeses like goat cheese or gorgonzola.

Grilled chicken, feta cheese, nuts, different dressings - I get so lazy though - hate making salad!!

Like Tanaholic said, my favorite salad ever is mesculun, walnuts, apples, dried cranberries, and crumbled gorgonzola.

I sometimes add chunks of avocado, green olives, artichoke hearts or feta cheese. I also use salsa instead of dressing for a change of pace.

I add so much, shredded cheese, rolled up cold cuts, olives, gorgonzola cheese (no more for me on this), chick peas.
