Mexico vs. Dominican republic??
Im so torn..we are going on our honeymoon in three months and we still havent booked it. I have been to Mexico twice..the first time at Moon Palace, which I loved..the second time to Puerto vallarta, which I also loved. I have never been to Dominican Republic but it looks amazing. The prices are comparable to Mexico..can any share their dominican republic experiences? How was the food? What is there to do off of the resort? Any feedback would be awesome!!! Thanks so much!

I would reccomend mexico unless you don't plan on leaving the resort. There is not much to do or see in the DR.

MEXICO!!!!!!There are so many places in Mexico to visit that are beautiful. I've been to both Mexico and DR. Very disappointed with DR.

I have been to both and would have to say Mexico. I did not like DR and had a bad trip I never plan on going back. Mexico there is so many different areas that you can go to.

We've been to DR (Puerto Plata) and Mexico (Cabo San Lucas). I would return to Mexico in a heartbeat, and although we had a good time in DR, don't think I'll be returning there anytime soon. There wasn't much to do outside of the resort area, and I was told it wasn't very safe either. Cabo on the other hand has a million things to do, and was just a clean, beautiful area. Good luck!

never been to the DR- but I have been to Mexico 3 times- Cabo, Cancun and some place I can't spell for the life of me- but I loved them all
Cabo is my fav- I would go there every year!

Cabo for a HM would be awesome. If you do DR, I would do Punta Cana. Have fun!!

Just curious...I've never been to DR. Is the ocean water not clear and blue like the rest of the islands??
