what a day
Glad to be home.
I worked on a quote for someone for Vegas. They sent me 3 different weekends to look at. So I provided them with many different options for hotels and air. She sent me an email requesting different dates so I had to go back and look up different air fare and hotels for the one person.
I had to explain about 10 times to someone why he can not get a quote for his customer. Finally just getting annoyed I said "Ok here is the deal, it will be completely unethical and against the SOP's of the company to provide you with a quote for your client. If you had read your GRTA agreement as you were instructed to do so you would have seen under section 2 and 10 No and I repeat no GRTA is to call for a quote for their customers because of Liability and Insurance purposes"
and then to cap off the day, my office faces the highway and I saw the worst accident I had ever seen. A pick up truck driving southbound (he had to have been speeding) tire blew. He lost control of his car, went over the medium and into the North bound side of traffice, across 3 lanes of the highway and head on collission with a big commercial truck. Thank goodness it was the only thing that was hit but sadly, the truck very little damage, and the pick up oh gosh. It was a handful of metal. 2 DOS. Their were news helicopters, 3 medical helicopters, 2 fire engines, haz mat, and the higway was blocked off for about an hour.
So glad to be home and chatting with you ladies
