Newlywed chop
Who's done this? Are you happy you did? How much of a change did you make and do you have any cute short to med styles you could post? I am debating on weither to do this or not. I have thin curly hair that is shounder length. Any suggestions. I am willing to go straight and even dye it if you have sugg. TIA

I had waist length very thick curly hair and 2 weeks after our hm I chopped it all off a little above my shoulders....so happy I did it. It was straight, kinda messy, very choppy and flipped up all over... I loved it, it used to take me 2 hours to straighten it, now it takes less an 15 mins and it always looks straight from the salon

I did it... i cut 10 inches off so i could donate it... at first it was a little too short for me, but now i like it... i have picts somewhere... if i can find them i will post them...

Thank you all for the pics, advice and for sharing your newlywed chop stories w/me I cut it yesterday! It's a little shorter than shoulder length, straight and layered. I have to work all weekend, but I will get a pic up this next week!! Also.......I want to color it. My natural color is a darker brown but I don't know if I should highlight or what......and thoughts

can't wait to see a pic! I cut about 5 inches off my hair after the wedding.....it felt so nice and it was so much easier for me to take care of.

 I am so in love with this hair cut I think that with your hair and thin body/face you could really pull this off! I think you would look AMAZING!!! Post pics no matter what you do. I have to admit I am VERY jelous of you hair....and your ability to spell correctly

I did it...I cut 10 inches off and donated it to Locks of Love...my hair was just below my chin! The shortest I EVER had it....its past my shoulders now...it grew fast

I definitely did. A week after we got back from the HM I got my hair cut. I ha atleast 6-8 inches taken off. I was growing my hair long for the wedding so it would look nice. I got my usual highliughts and it all cut off to my shoulders. I feel so much better now, and my hair is so much healthier. Go for it! What is th worst that can happen...you don't like it...then you give it some time and it will grow back!!! Good luck!
