Birthday Party help!

I was really sold on the idea of "A ton o fun" but the tour I took left me a little disappointed!

Please give me some rec'd...

I was thinking White Post farms- but its kinda far for most of my guests- and isnt that kinda rude to ask them to travel there?

I also would like something with a big enough party room for me to feed the adults as well!!!

TIA

Re: Birthday Party help!

FYI: White post farms is very expensive.. To start , it is $500 for 12 and each additional child is $20... You then have to order food from there caterer... If you are willing to pay then they give great parties...

you can try--
Gymboree
My gym
Wood Kingdom
any real gymnastics place-- I researched and I remember some really good ones out in suffolk but can't remeber at the moment..

I could recommend stuff in Nassau but I am sure that is too far for you to go...

Re: Birthday Party help!

I am having a gymnastic party for Jacob at Mid-Island gymnastics... I actually went to a party there this weekend and there were ages 2-8 there.. it was a really good party..

They had-jumping into the foam under the uneven bars, using the long trampoline and the older ones were doing flips.
2 big bouncy things--- a slide and a big castle, the trapeze contraption was going and obstacle courses for the little ones.. They also did parachute but of course the older ones don't need to do that part... This went was for an hour and then off for pizza and cake which everyone eats...

The party is for RJ and his friends and the older kids will adjust to whatever you offer... ( Of course this is my opinion)

Re: Birthday Party help!

How about Wood Kingdom? I had my son's party there when he was 3 or 4 and it was great for all ages. I've also been to a few parties and the guests were of various ages and everyone seemed to have a good time. We are actually going there tomorrow for open play in the morning. Also, Wood Kingdom only has one party at a time which is nice.

If you do decide to have a party there, I have a coupon for birthday child free if you want it.

I was one that did not like A Ton of Fun. It is so hard to find good birthday places. What about
Chuck E Cheese or Dave & Busters?
I think there BIG $$ to be made in Birthday parties.
How about Milk & Cookies in Bay Shore.
Build a Bear?
Aquarium?
Wood Kingdom?
LI Ducks Game?
sorry I don't have many good ideas. Let us know what you choose.

What about a karate party?

I have the same problem with our group for birthday parties - cousins range from 14-4.

I've had parties at:
-Chuck E. Cheese - video games, need I say more?
-Wood Kingdom - great for the older kids to glide down those long rails.
-Elwood Cinemas - who doesn't love a movie? Um, maybe a 2 year old.Chat Icon

I am another vote for wood kingdom I had a 2nd birthday party there for my son it was so much fun and the best part they did pretty much everything. I got to sit back and enjoy. Pump it up is another fun place but too far I am sure for your guests.
Good luck with finding a place its so much work finding the right spot.

Does LI Game Farm do kids parties? I think that's closer to you and similar to WPF.
