Dyeing satin shoes?

I need to dye satin shoes black. Do you know who sells the dye I can use?
Will payless dye shoes that aren't bought there? Or will a shoe repair place dye shoes? I've never had to do this with shoes I've already owned before... so I'm clueless.

I don't know where you are located, but, you may be able to go to Craft Shoes in Commack.

I'm out of state, so I'm looking for a more generic idea of where I can go. Maybe I'll see if a shoe repair place does it. Seems like something they'd do.

I was in a bridal party over the weekend and I actually LOVED the dress but want to dye it black. Does anyone know anywhere that does garment dyeing? Thank you!!

I've dyed them myself. You can either go to a local shoe repair place and buy the dye or you can try a local supermarket. They sometimes carry the dye in the aisle where you find shoe shine.
