joined WW yesterday and starting PT tomorrow
i went to my 1st meeting yesterday.
everyone was very nice.
so far i'm staring w/ flex.
and on weds, i start w/ my personal trainer.
between these 2 things, i better lose weight (not to mention the extra weight from our cruise last week! oy!)

Weight Watchers worked very well for me.....just be sure to drink the water, its more important than people might think.
I lost 25 lbs (in 3 months), but then the meetings were starting to get in the way, so I stopped going and tried to follow it on my own and lost only 10 lbs (in like 4 months). The meetings keep you motivated, and the weekly weigh in keep you away from junk food bc you know you will pay for it. Just make sure to pick a certain type of clothes and stick to it (when weighing in). I chose jeans from the very beginning, so my weight wouldn't fluctuate because of my outfit (jeans can add up to 3 lbs!)
Good luck with it, I think I'm gonna be going back to it next week.

thanks ladies!
i went to my 1st meeting on monday and everyone was very nice.
i've been drinking tons of water!
is it ok if i cant make it to the same meeting each week?
my mom is coming out to visit me this coming monday and we're going to the jersey shore, so i doubt i'll make my 5:30 meeting.

you don't have to go to the same meeting. in fact, they encourage you to try different ones to find the right fit. you can also go more than 1x per week. the fee that you've been paying at your monday meeting entitles you to entry to any other meeting until the following monday (and I don't think you have to weigh in at those meetings either.)
