we cruised w/ on the norwegian crown, so no hotel necessary!
we went to st. georges and then to hamilton.

we thought the crown was ok, it was an older and smaller ship. we heard that they are taking it out of commission this fall.
i'd have to say that the highlight was when someone pooped in the pool and it had to be cleaned and drained and everyone stood around and watched!  
FM if you want more details.
a few years ago we cruised on carnival and our room was much bigger than on the crown.
