grandma's pink comb
my grandmother had an oversized pink comb that she brought with her every where she went...she must have had the comb for 30+ years.
after she passed my mother sworn that she threw the comb out...she didn't think that anyone would want to hold onto a comb...especially since there were so many things that had special meaning to each of us
anyway, yesterday my mother went into her closet to hang up a pair of pants and right there in the middle of the closet was my Grandmother's Pink Comb...with pieces of her hair still tangled up in it.
My mother things that this is my Grandmother's way of saying Happy Mother's Day to my mom.

I'm a newbie over from LIW and I just want to say that your post was amazzzzing! I'm still dealing everyday with the death of my grandma and it's been over a yr now. When I got married all I wanted was to know that she was there, a sign or something telling me that she was there. Well I don't know if there was a single sign per se but the day went off without a hitch, just beautiful! Maybe that was my sign but your mom has to know that the comb was definitely a sign I believe that wholeheartedly!
