How early can morning sickness start?

Were any of you sick before you even knew you were PG? Can it begin that early?

I am honestly going to say no bc I think its only in the movies where you see the woman puking as conception is first taking place. For the most part women begin between 5-6 weeks. I am sure there is exceptions to every rule.

Re: How early can morning sickness start?

With DD mine started at exactly 5w5d's. I am 5 weeks now, we shall see with this one!

My MIL swears she had m/s with my DH and SIL within 2-3 days of conception. She claims that's how she knew she was pg. Her sickness though lasted throughout her entire pg, both times though.

Re: How early can morning sickness start?

Thanks ladies. I guess I was getting ahead of myself as we have been TTC and I have been horribly nauseous the past few days.

Unfortuantely I guess it's just the flu....

Re: How early can morning sickness start?

Mine started before I tested for my BFP but not too soon before it. It kicked in full force at 6 weeks.

I had some nauseau at 5 weeks but nothing really too much. I get waves of it now at 6 1/2 weeks - but not too bad.

Around when I got my BFP I had a lot of indigestion and burpingChat Icon which I never ever have - it has pretty much disappeared but I am positive it was pregnancy related.

Re: How early can morning sickness start?

I found out that I was pregnant at 2 weeks with my first child and i had morning sickness a week after i got pregnant. Everyone still tells me that I am crazy but we all know our bodies better than anyone.

I stopped taking my depo shot 6 months ago and I have been told that it takes about 18 months for our bodies to be fertile again but I am having morning sickness so I'm hoping that we are pregnant!!!! Good luck to you
