Freelancing
I'm thinking of doing grant writing freelancing. How do I go about getting clients?
Do I call contacts?
Do I send my resume and a letter blindly to local organizations?

I would see what the going rate is and decide whether you want to be set up as an Independent Contractor (1099) or as a Freelancer (and pay taxes via payroll). Then send out letters, try to get meetings, network..etc.
