Hi! We're back!
So, we got home last night from Hershey. Had a great time! We stayed in the Sheraton in Harrisburg and it was beautiful. They apparently just re-did the entire place, and you can tell. It was close to Hershey Park, so we were happy. I missed Ava like crazy, but I was glad we didn't take her because we were able to go on all the rides and just be a little more carefree.
I was a little disappointed in the park. They really don't take as much pride in its appearance as they used to. It used to be spotless and now, there's just a ton of disgruntled teenagers running everything. All the counters at the food stations were disgusting. We didn't eat all day because it was so gross. Also, they really should have more of a theme throughout the park, I think it seemed to sterile now. They basically have gotten rid of all of the charm the park used to have. But that aside, the rides were great and because of the new water park, we hardly had to wait on line for all the rides. So that was a bonus. And Chocolate World, who can complain about that? I'm glad we went, JT and our other friend's husband, had never been there, so it was a good experience all around. Next time, though, we're going to Dorney Park.

oh that's a shame that the park is going down hill. i love hershey but haven't been there in a few years.

Glad to hear that the hotel was great. We will be staying there too. Can't wait to see it.
Sorry to hear that the park wasn't so clean. I will be going for 2 days with the kids. One day for the dry rides and the other for the water park. I hope the water park is cleaner.
We have never been there, I hope it isn't too bad.

Don't worry, the park itself was clean, we just noticed that all of the food and drink stations were a little skeevy. I think they were just really, really busy and a little understaffed. The water park looks like SOOOOOO much fun, but no one I was with would go on anything in it because they're losers Just kidding, they just don't like water rides, which is a shame. Looks like a blast! Let me know how you like it!

Good Lord Rachel, DO NOT GO TO DORNEY If you thought Hershey was bad, dorney is 20x worse.
I used to love dorney as a kid. The last time I was there I think I was about 26. I actually got sick, yes I threw up at the disgusting actions of the people there.
Its horrible

Glad you had fun. I'm disappointed to hear that it's gone downhill. I haven't been there in years - since high school, but it was so much fun then. I think I remember it being kinda charming back then (if I noticed such a thing back then)

Don't worry, if you've never been there before, you won't even notice that it's lost its "charm", and like I said, the park itself was very clean, just the food stands were dirty. I attribute it to there being teenagers running them and not caring. We did have an awesome time, though.

Ok. I will bring a ton of handi wipes with me And eat a big breakfast before getting there:)
I am so stressed out lately that even if I had to eat off the floor it would be fine I love Andrew but I need a break ASAP
