I need some decorating help.
This is my china. The real colors may be hard to see- there's a deep terra cotta color, medium green and a tiny, tiny hint of blue. Cream background.
This is the kitchen. It's butt ugly at the moment. I pulled down the wallpaper and took down the shelves. I am going to leave the bottom half of the wall paneled for now, and we won't be getting new cabinets for while either. I want to do a copper backsplash (the metal tiles). I would love any input because I want to display my casual china, so I would like some help on using color. I will be painting the walls (top and bottom in different colors) and the cabinets. Thanks.

Is it a big kitchen? How about doing a terracotta color on the walls...or maybe just a shade lighter than that.

I would do something very light and unobtrusive, like a very light shade of green that compliments the green in the plates. Any color too bright, would take away from the plates and would make them blend in too much.

It's 11x15. Not huge, but a good size.
Thanks ladies.
