question.... (update)
i was wondering- does progesterone &/or estrogen effect the results of a hpt?

I do not believe so since the hpts are measuring the hcg levels..

No...I know if you take a trigger shot which is HCG that can affect the test but not progesterone or estrogen.

okay.... because i am @ day 10 of the ever crazy 2ww and was impatient- took an hpt & came back w/ a bfp.... i am still thinking it is way too early to be sure.... had the hcg shot 15 days ago... am doing pogesterone sups/ estroderm patches.... i was told the estroderm can lead to a false pos..... anyone have similiar experience??

I have to agree with Gerty The HPT measure the amount of hcg in your urine.

hey thanks guys!! i think i am going a little overboard w/ the HPT's but so far they are all +++!!! i pray they are not because of the ivf meds!!! many yrs of praying!! hope this is the real thing!! keep you posted!!!
