Painting On Plastic Items

So I'm trying to make personalized party favors. I'm having a hard time because the brush strokes are very visible on the plastic items. Is there a certain type of brush I should get? Anyone know? Chat Icon

When I paint on glassware I use enamel brushes - they have softer bristles and you don't see the strokes quite as much. Also, try to find "plastic paint" so the paint doesn't come off--- you may be able to get it in Michaels or AC Moore. HTH!

I was just in Michaels this weekend and was asking the women who was very helpful about painting on plastic and they told me the same thing use enamel brushes.

Good Luck

Paint pens might be easier.

This is what I do as a "business". I use paint pens. Get either Elmer's Painters or DecoColor- both are sold at AC Moore and Michael's. The pens are a lot easier to control than using a brush.
