Do you ever wonder...
Do you ever wonder if when your baby is "sleeping through the night" he actually wakes up and just lays there awake for awhile and then just gets bored back to sleep? Okay, I probably sound like a wacko for thinking that but sometimes I wonder if he is really sleeping in there!
I hear a little "eh" every once in awhile on the monitor and some moving around but it certainly doesn't sound like he's awake... I guess I'm just paranoid. He started sleeping 12 hrs this weekend (from 8pm - 8am) and I guess I just can't believe that he's really asleep for that long!
I swear I FLEW out of bed and practically fell on my azz running into his room when I realized he was still sleeping at 8 am on Saturday morning!

Re: Do you ever wonder...
My daughter only hung out in her crib once. She got up super late and hubby was up and waiting and finally went to check on her and she was laying in there with her arms behind her head, elbows bent and knees up like she was sent to her room to be punished or something . Other than that I know with my daughter the minute she opens her eys and realizes that she is alone- she starts to cry

Re: Do you ever wonder...
I will never forget waking up the first time my son slept through the night. My DH looked at me & said Joseph didn't wake up yet?? I said "You don't think he's dead or anything?" That pretty much took care of who checked the baby in the mornings...
(I checked him at 3am )

Wow, that's too funny, because I'm the same exact way. Christopher makes his little "eh" noises every once and a while, but he never makes more noise than that until he's fully awake in the morning.
He slept for 12 hours for the first time last week and I was in an absolute panic running in to check on him.

Re: Do you ever wonder...
I see that Jared does wake up because we have the audio/video monitor. He'll look around, talk to himself, then close his eyes and go back to sleep. I'm not looking forward to the nightmares though...

Ain't that the truth. Nate started sleeping through the night at maybe 3.5 months. He's 4.5 months now and this past week he's been waking up every 3 hours. Just when you think you have it down they surprise you.

Jake started sleeping 8 hrs at around 10 weeks I think. He was sleeping 4 - 5 hrs at a shot maybe around 7 weeks.
